Yolele Honored at Paris Cookbook Fair
Founded in 1995 by Edouard Cointreau, last week the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards honored Pierre Thiam's Yolele! Recipes from the Heart of Sengal with a Special Jury Award. The awards event launched the Paris Cookbook Fair, the largest cookbook and wine book trade fair in the world. The event, which took place from February 12-15, 2010, welcomed chefs, authors, publishers and journalists from around the world for a weekend of awards, lectures, and demos.
